Now Hiring - Group Sales Manager in Santa Monica, CA

• Pay Rate Range: $65,000-69,000 USD Gross per year

Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
• Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizations
• Accountable for managing small group meetings (less than 25 rooms during peak nights), events and room blocks by prospecting and contracting business (all segments) within defined territory
• Follow-up on all leads and correspondence in a timely manner

• Previous Sales experience required; luxury hotel experience preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required
• Experience with Opera Cloud preferred
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
• 1+ years’ experience in Sales and or/Event Planning role
